  • Early School Closures - Thursday 26th and Friday 27th March

    Please note the early closures for the remaining two days.

     

    Reception to Year 6
    Thursday 26th March at 1.15pm due to parents conferences and

    Friday 27th March at 1.15pm for the Easter Break

     

    For Nursery Parents

    Thursday 26th March - Nursery PM will be open as usual.

    Friday 27th March:

    Nursery AM will be open as usual.

    Nursery PM will be closed. 

    Full-time children can be collected at either 11.30am or 1.15pm.

    Fathers Group: Addressing the Challenges

    Tuesday 24th March      10am-12pm via MS Teams

    This will session is designed for fathers and father-figures who have a caring role for children who have special educational needs. The session will look at the joy that can come through parenting a child with additional needs, as well as the challenges and barriers that you may face.

     

    Fathers Group: Different Strokes – Navigating Parenthood Across Cultures

    Tuesday 21st April         10am-12pm via MS Teams

    This workshop will celebrate diversity through fatherhood; we will cover how men handle fatherhood, and how your parenting style may have been shaped by your own experiences. You will also have the opportunity to share your own experiences with other fathers and father-figures

     

    Understanding Your Teen

    Tuesday 28th April         10:30am-12:30pm via MS Teams

    A chance to unravel the mystery of the teenager; this session will cover emotional development through childhood & adolescence, how to support your teen with their mental wellbeing, and how to better understand their behaviour

     

    Managing Parental Conflict and the Impact on Children

    Tuesday 5th May         10:30am-12:30pm via MS Teams

    Conflict can be a normal part of life, but incidents that are poorly-resolved  or frequent can have a negative impact. This session looks at common causes of conflict in families, and what steps can be taken to resolve or avoid these issues

     

    Employment, Benefits & Retraining

    Tuesday 19th May         10:30am-12:30pm via MS Teams

    An opportunity to find out what support is available for you to support to return to work, what opportunities are there for changing jobs or retraining, and where to find out what benefits your family may be entitled to

     

    SEN Support in Schools & EHCPs

    Tuesday 9th June         10:30am-12:30pm via MS Teams

    Explore what support is available for children and young people with additional needs, and learn about what the EHCP process involves and how this may benefit your child

     

    Domestic Abuse, Parenting & You

    Tuesday 16th June         10:30am-12:30pm via MS Teams

    This session aims to support parents and carers to recognise the ways that domestic abuse may present, how abuse can impact on your parenting, and where you can find local support

     

    Building Healthier Relationships – Part 1

    Tuesday 7th July         10:30am-12:30pm via MS Teams

    This 2-part workshop discusses what we can do to nurture relationships, and what may cause them to break down. We will look at relationships within the family, as well as other types of relationships that we may form through our lives, and how we can keep our relationships healthy
