• Children’s Mental Health Week -Monday 6th -Sunday 12th February 2023

  Take part in Children’s Mental Health Week and help make a difference to the lives of children and young people across the UK. 

   

  Children’s Mental Health Week 2023 will take place from Monday 6th to Sunday 12th February 2023. This year’s theme is 'Let’s Connect'. 

   

  Friday 10th February 2023 Dress to Express – Children can come to school in non-uniform and pay £1 through school money to raise money for the charity Place2Be.

   

  Place2Be launched its first-ever Children's Mental Health Week in 2015 to shine a spotlight on the importance of children and young people's mental health. Now in its ninth year, they hope to encourage more people than ever to get involved, spread the word, and raise vital funds for children's mental health.

• Year 6 Performance Poetry Assembly

  On Thursday 26th January, Year 6 took the bold step of performing poetry recitals in front of the whole school. This was part of their Christmas homework, however remembering all the lines with a huge audience was something completely different. Please click on the link below and take a look. This was quite a challenge for the children, but one which they worked very hard on and maybe might inspire performances and poets of the future. Who else thinks they could recite and perform a poem?
