Welcome back to the Autumn Term 2022

Dear Parents/Carers,

Welcome back to the Autumn Term 2022! We hope that you all had a really lovely relaxing summer break.  Please note the following messages.

 

School Opening Dates

The main school will be opening for all pupils from year 1 to year 6 on Monday 5th September.  Children in Reception classes will all have staggered start dates from Monday 5th September and they will also only be staying until 12.00pm for the first two weeks (parents have been notified individually). The Nursery will be opening for all current pupils on Thursday 8th September.

 

School Gate Opening times reminder

The school gates are open from 8.30am for all pupils.

Registration starts at 8.45am. You will need to sign your child in as late after 8:45am when the gates close. School closes at 3.20pm for pupils in Reception to Year 6 and 3.30pm for Nursery pupils.

 

School Uniform Collections

You can now place school uniform orders on School Money and collect them from the school on Friday 2nd September between 10am -12pm or they will be handed to your child on Monday. Please note only order the Yellow PE t-shirt if your child is in Sangha House, we will refund all orders made if your child is not in Sangha House. We have ordered Red, Green and Blue t-shirts for all children according to the House that they belong to. Once these arrive you will be able to place an order for these but in the meantime, children can all still continue to use their current yellow t-shirts for all PE activities.

 

Pupils with Medical Needs

Please note that any medications/creams/asthma pumps/epi-pens that we had in the school for your child was returned to you at the end of July.  Parents were informed that they would be responsible for providing the school with their medication for our use on Monday 5th September.  The school will be open on Friday 2nd September from 10am to 12pm for parents to drop off the completed medical form and also more importantly your child’s medication.  Until all medications/asthma pumps/epi-pens are provided for your child they will not be able to start in the school. 

 

Dinner Money for year 3 Pupils

Please note that children in year 3 will now need to pay for their school lunch.  The cost is £2.20 per day (£11.00 for the week).  Please order and pay for your child’s lunch online on School Money, preferably at the weekend as you will be unable to order on the day. 

Children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 are entitled to a free school meal.
