Number Facts: Times Tables

In Year 2, the emphasis is on mastering facts from the 2, 5 and 10 times tables. Mastering these in an essential requirement that is key to supporting children's further progress in this subject area.

One way of learning facts (or, especially, reinforcing the fluent recall of known facts) is through the use of songs and this BBC Bitesize resource has songs for every set of facts: time to get singing everyone!

Parent Guides (White Rose)

These guides have been written by an organisation called White Rose Maths and will help parents with some practical maths activities to support their child's learning. Printable resources are included and, as always, please ask if you'd like any help getting started with a resource.
