The Litter Action Group for Ealing Residents

On Sunday morning, The Litter Action Group for Ealing Residents (LAGER Can) removed all this rubbish from Hayes Bridge Allotments, next to our school. They were there to help a charity Urban Trailblazers, which is developing some allotments for disadvantaged people to use for growing food.

They were joined by their friends Green S Welfare UK, and Eknoor (5 Stars) came with his dad, who is a member, to help. Eknoor worked very hard and was very chatty and he was given a Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service badge to thank him.

He also found 16 of the school’s balls which had ended up in the allotments, and returned them to the school!

Eknoor is in the photo below with his dad.
