BBC Bitesize Primary: Daily Lessons
Dear Parents and Pupils,
From Monday 20th April, you’ll be able to access lessons in English and Maths every day, as well as other core subjects through BBC Bitesize and an expanded version of the website as well as on special programmes, broadcast on BBC IPlayer and BBC Red Button.
Here, you will have access to 14 weeks of lessons and programmes for children of all ages with content linked to their age-appropriate National Curriculum. The content of these lessons will be backed up by new videos, practice tests, educational games and articles. Regular lessons on other core subjects, including Science, will also be available. Mums and dads can get advice on how to teach their child/children History, Geography and Art via home-schooling and the Bitesize website will also have guides for pupils with SEN (Special Educational Needs).
Videos, quizzes, podcasts and articles are all being prepared to assist home learning and these will be available on BBC IPlayer; BBC 4; BBC Sounds; Red button; BBC BiteSize APP; and the BBC BiteSize Website.
Please visit ‘Bitesize Primary Planner’ as this will give you information about all the resources available across the BBC.
The Class Teachers believe that this will be a very useful tool to assist parents with Home-Schooling. Please follow the ‘BBC Bitesize’ link below.
Happy Learning!Staff at Blair Peach
